We did very little while at the Zuri Beach Resort.

They had a beautiful pool area with views and an outdoor restaurant overlooking both the beach and the pool.

The restaurant had a couple of great desserts.  The best chocolate dessert we'd had in Africa (desserts here don't seem to fit with the American palate.

This was Paul's banana split.

The large outdoor lobby had great swinging chairs and a library...and views to everywhere.

Mainly we relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the tropical breezes.

Lunch. Chicken satay and fries on a tropical beach. 🏝Doesn’t get much better than this. πŸ’•

One day we were joined by this little lizard.

One day we took a snorkeling trip but didn’t take any cameras, so we have no photos to post.  And one day we had to drive back to Zanzibar to get a Covid test for the flight to Nairobi.  Effectively spent all morning on the drive there and back.

The hotel has a Spice Garden and one day Mary took a walk through it.  Didn’t really seem to be a lot of spices although she did see a clove tree and a few others.

The entire resort grounds had many lovely flowers.
